Welcome to my table

A new chapter

Launching something new on Lunar New Year feels especially auspicious. For me, this is the true start of 2025—a time to refresh my home, reset my mind, and realign with my goals. That’s why it feels so meaningful to launch Love Notes To, on a holiday that holds so much significance for me.

For those who are new here, hi! I’m Monica—a cookbook author, food photographer, recipe developer, and content creator. Before leaning into my true calling as a creative in food, I spent much of my career as an art director in the advertising industry. It was during those years that I honed my eye for visuals and storytelling, skills I now use to bring recipes to life in ways that are both delicious and approachable.

Cooking in a new season of life

Over the years, I’ve run recipe blogs in many forms—experimenting with different cuisines, cooking techniques, and trends. But as I’ve grown into my role as a mama and embraced the beautiful messiness of toddler life, my priorities in the kitchen have shifted. With limited time (and hands), I now focus on meals make life easier and dishes that are great for sharing—because hosting and connecting with loved ones is one of my greatest joys.

Here on Love Notes To, you’ll find recipes that are approachable and family-friendly. Beyond that, I’ll be sharing guides for everything from meal planning to exploring the Bay Area, videos to bring you into my kitchen and my life, and curated lists of products I love.

Starting off the year with a bang!

Whether you’re looking for a quick, kid-friendly dinner, tips for hosting a holiday get-together, or inspiration to slow down and enjoy life’s small joys, I hope this space feels like a cozy corner of the internet just for you. Love Notes To is about food, family, and connection—the little things that make life feel big.

Thank you for being here as I begin this new chapter. It means so much to have you along for the journey. To get started, hop over to my video page to see what’s cookin’. I’ll meet you there!
